Patara Fine Thai Cuisine proudly presents the “Cuisine of Chef Ian Kittichai” in conjunction with Asian Masters 2011. Featuring acclaimed Thai Chef, Ian Kittichai who has been dubbed “The Golden Boy” by the Bangkok Post, Patara Fine Thai Cuisine will showcase Chef Kittichai’s signature ala carte and degustation menu exclusively from the 21st to 26th of November 2011. In addition, Chef Kittichai will conduct two intimate cooking workshops during the week for gourmands keen on picking up the finer points of Thai Cooking.
Having won acclaim in multiple international culinary competitions, Chef Kittichai’s career took off with the Four Seasons organization which saw him on culinary exchanges with restaurants and hotels such as Georges V in Paris, French Laundry in Napa Valley, El Bulli in Spain, and Four Seasons Chinzan-so in Tokyo.
Since then Chef Ian Kittichai has created the Kittichai Restaurant in New York City and founded his own international food & beverage management and consulting firm, Cuisine Concept Co., Ltd. that is behind acclaimed restaurants such as Murmuri in Barcelona, gastro bar Hyde & Seek in Bangkok and Koh by Ian Kittichai, located at the Intercontinental Marine Drive Hotel in Mumbai. In February 2011, Chef Chalermkittichai opened Ember Room, an American-Asian barbecue restaurant with Chef Todd English in New York City and is currently developing other restaurants in Bangkok, New York City as well as a signature cookbook for the English-language market.
